Screen Printing techniques
Standard Screen Printing – Plastisol Inks
We offer standard screen printing using premium, eco-friendly, phthalate-free plastisol inks. These inks ensure smooth, durable prints with a superior feel. Plastisol inks are our default choice for their reliability across various printing processes. We can accommodate up to 9 spot (solid) colors in our designs, allowing for vibrant and detailed prints that stand out.
Our standard print size is up to 13” x 16”. For larger designs, we offer an oversized print option up to 17” x 17” for an additional fee.
Distressed “Vintage” Screen Printing
Looking to give your shirts that authentic, time-worn look reminiscent of classic vintage style? Our vintage printing services are the perfect solution. Whether you have artwork that’s already designed with a weathered, distressed appearance or need us to create that vintage effect for you, we've got you covered.
We offer several techniques to achieve this nostalgic look, including distressing, applying softhand additives to the ink for a softer feel, utilizing discharge inks, or using a roller-screen for a smoother, softer print.
CMYK Process Screen Printing
Capture vibrant, full-color images effortlessly with our advanced four-color process printing. This technique utilizes translucent Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black (CMYK) inks to create a broad spectrum of colors. By precisely blending varying percentages of halftone dots, we achieve rich, true-to-life visuals that stand out. Ideal for white or light-colored garments, this method also delivers impressive results on darker fabrics.
Please note that, due to the complexity of this process, an additional first-time setup fee may be required to prepare your artwork for printing
Simulated Process Screen Printing
For vibrant, full-color designs, our Simulated Process Printing is the perfect choice. This advanced technique uses high-opacity inks to create rich, detailed prints, regardless of garment color.
Please note that, due to the complexity of this process, an additional first-time setup fee may be required to prepare your artwork for printing. We recommend consulting with your sales representative to determine the best printing approach for your unique design.
Discharge Screen Printing
Discharge screen printing is a specialized technique where the dye is removed from the fabric, revealing the garment's natural color—typically a light cream or natural shade. This method produces a soft and unique finish, adding both comfort and visual appeal to the garment. However, it’s important to note that the final appearance of the print may vary depending on the shirt's color and brand.
For the best results, it is recommended to wash the shirts after printing to achieve their desired "soft-hand" feel.
Over-sized & Jumbo Screen Printing
Looking to make a bold statement with your design? Our oversized printing option is ideal for designs that cover the majority of the shirt. Typically, the maximum print area for oversized prints is 17" x 17", though this can vary slightly depending on the brand and size of the shirts.
Please note that print size is determined by the smallest garment in your order. It's important to understand that while garment sizes may vary, the screen size remains the same.
